S E L E C T E D O U T R E A C HCollaborated with the UC Berkeley Professional Development Office on an intensive 3-week engineering curriculum based on my research with Professor Raja Sengupta. The students learned computer science and analytical skills via a project centered around GPS tracking data collected by smartphone. The program went live July 2011 at UC Berkeley with a class of 25 high school students. The objectives were to expose students from diverse backgrounds to engineering and to excite them about opportunities in the profession. This is part of the national LEAD (Leadership Education and Development Program) program.
